The Creative Vision
Hello! My name is Hailey Truscott. I am an honors student at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. My expected graduation date is May 2027. I am studying for my Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia, as well as double-minoring in Film Studies and English Creative Writing.
Previously, I attended Southeast Community College in Beatrice, Nebraska, where I completed 19 hours of dual credit while in high school.
I grew up in Sterling, Nebraska, and I graduated from Sterling High School in May 2024 as the salutatorian of my class. I maintained a 4.0 GPA all through high school, and I have a 3.8 GPA from my time in college.
I am an executive member of the Loper Programming and Activities Council, which is one of the leading involvement organizations at UNK. LPAC is responsible for hosting many of the student engagement activities held throughout the academic year, such as Homecoming events in the fall and a concert in the spring.
I completed 20+ hours of job shadowing experience at the KLPR 91.1 radio station on campus. I assisted in vocal work and aided students in finding their radio personas. I also created my own vocal portfolio during my time at UNK.
